Chongqing, China - From 16 to 18 March 2024, the bustling halls of Chongqing International Expo Center witnessed a remarkable convergence of innovations and advancements, as the 21st China Association of Clinical Laboratory Practice Expo (CACLP) and the 4th edition of China IVD Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) concluded with resounding success.
Occupying an expansive 130,000 sqm exhibiting area across 9 halls, CACLP & CISCE 2024 hosted over 1,300 global exhibitors spanning the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry chain. In a continuous effort to enhance the experience for both exhibitors and visitors, for the first time ever, the two expos were thoughtfully divided into 6 specialized areas (Instruments and Reagents, Raw Materials, Components, Consumables, General Lab Equipment, and Supply Chain) and ensured a more focused and impactful engagement for all involved.
The impact of CACLP & CISCE 2024 was evident as nearly 50,000 visitors, comprising industry professionals, researchers, and end users, flooded the event by its closure on 18 March. With exhibitors hailing from 19 countries and regions, and professional visitors representing 54 nations, Chongqing became a global hub of IVD innovation during the event.
Notable participants, including international giants such as Danaher Corporation, Roche and Abbott, as well as prominent Chinese IVD companies like Zybio, Mindray, YHLO, Maccura, Autobio, Wondfo and Snibe, together with the Berlin-Brandenburg joint-booth exhibitors and the Association of Diagnostics Manufacturers of India, significantly enriched the exhibition's diverse array of offerings. Additionally, the introduction of daily roadshows at the International Pavilion provided an integrated and targeted stage for exhibitors to spotlight cutting-edge products and technologies on a global scale.
From 15-17 March, the 9th China Experimental Medicine Conference (CEMC) and series sessions, the 11th China IVD Industry Development Conference (CIIDC), the 6th China IVD Distribution Enterprise Forum (CIDEF), Enlightening Lab Med - the 7th IVD Youth Entrepreneur Forum (ELM·Y), the 4th China Key Raw Material & Parts Forum (CKRMPF) as well as the 1st International Laboratory Medicine & IVD Forum, were successfully held.
The influx of international participants at CACLP & CISCE 2024 brought forth diverse opportunities and collaborations, revitalizing both China's and the Asia-Pacific IVD market.
