The 25th Shenzhen International Clothing Supply Chain Expo (Fashion Source), the 10th Shenzhen Original Design Fashion Week (ODF) and the 4th Première Vision Shenzhen (PV Shenzhen), concluded with a great success at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center on November 23, 2022.
With a coverage of 40,000 sqm of exhibit area, the three days events featured over 800 exhibitors around the world, 7 featured zones, 50+ onsite activities and 10 fashion shows to present a strong supply chain platform with fabrics, design, yarns, accessories, manufacturing and original design brands.
With the theme of “Moments”, the concurrent Fashion Source Summit for Clothing Supply Chain gathered industry pioneers across the apparel and textile industry, connected high-quality brands to valuable suppliers, and discussed the development and future of the garment industry. The latest Fashion Source 2023/24 Knit Trend explored the future knitwear through the lens of “Knitting Metaverse.” An artistic space was created with various colors, fabrics, ready-to-wear, furniture installations, and cross-border pieces for inspiration. The Fashion Source Business Matching served as a bridge between suppliers and key buyers comprising brands, e-commerce operators, and independent designers. Nearly 20 business matchmaking sessions were arranged for more than 100 selected exhibitors to facilitate efficient business negotiations.
The theme of the Shenzhen Original Fashion Week, “Diversity Future” captured how the show embraced cutting-edge brands from different fields and promoted cross-border interactions. Six interactive photo spots with interesting and stylish experiences were provided for customer engagement. More than 100 fashion icons and key opinion leaders came together to voice their perspectives. The latest trends of the season were showcased by 10 high-end original brands through runway shows. All the activities were broadcasted online 8 hours continuously alongside interviews with big names, which created trending topics on social media. With the help of digital technology, these physical launching events were able to attract high traffic online and ignite popular discussions therefore the events become a hybrid fashion party for all.
Despite the restrictions of Covid-19, the 4th PV Shenzhen still attracted leading companies from China, France, Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Portugal, and Japan to present their latest collections of fabric, yarn, design, leather, accessories and manufacturing, among which 22% were overseas exhibitors. To explore practical steps towards a greener fashion industry, the event also featured three highlight modules: PVSZ Trend Area, PVSZ Sustainable Focus Area, PVSZ Sustainable Fashion Seminar, where professional visitors and designers could learn about the latest global trends and evaluate their ideas by based on the current trends.
The 26th Shenzhen International Clothing Supply Chain Expo (Fashion Source), the 11th Shenzhen Original Design Fashion Week and the 5th Première Vision Shenzhen will be held at the same place from 26 to 28 April 2023. We will embark a brand new journey of creativity and fashion with more innovative products, richer content, and better commercial cooperation. We look forward to seeing you then.
